The Battery Shall Be Suitable For 1600 Hp Engine Starting Meeting The Following Duty Cycle:Engine Cranking Profile For 1600 Hp Demu Engine:Maximum Cranking Current- 800Abattery Voltage Shall Not Fall Below 20 Vo1Ts.Cranking Cycle Consists Of Following Sequence1St Start : 15 Seconds 'On' And 10 Seconds 'Off'2Nd Start : 15 Seconds 'On' And 10 Seconds 'Off'3Rd Start : 15 Seconds 'On' And 10 Seconds 'Off'3 Cranking Cycles Can Be Performed With Time Interval Of 2 Minutes Between The Cycles. Next Set Of Cranking Cycle Can Be Followed After Time Interval Of 10Minutes.The Battery Shall Be Supplied Along With Frame Arrangement Suitable For Accommodating 500 Ah 24 V Vrla Battery. The Overall Arrangement Of The Frame Shall Be As Per Drg. No.Icf /Sk3- -7-2-050. However, Any Modification Required On This Arrangement To Accommodate 500 Ah Vrla Battery Can Also Be Carried Outin Consultation And Approval Of Icf.
