Sant Feliu Sasserra City Council Considers It Essential To Guarantee The Safety Of People Using The Municipal Swimming Pool During The Summer Season. The Swimming Pool Is A Public Facility Very Used During The Months Of June, July And August, Both By Residents Of The Municipality And By Visitors. For This Reason, It Is Necessary To Have A Qualified Lifeguard Service That Ensures The Safety Of Bathers, The Prevention Of Accidents And Immediate Intervention In The Event Of An Emergency. This Service Is Mandatory In Accordance With Current Regulations On Safety In Aquatic Facilities And Is Essential To Guarantee The Correct Operation Of The Municipal Swimming Pool. Given That The City Council Does Not Have Enough Of Its Own Staff To Undertake This Service, It Is Considered Necessary To Proceed With The External Contracting Of The Lifeguard Service To Guarantee The Adequate Provision Of The Same Throughout The Swimming Season.
